Bring your kids to listen, learn, sing, dance, and interact! South Side Story Time is a monthly gathering that curates readings for its young attendees along with the chance for their parents to socialize. Hosts Keewa Nurullah of Kido and Megan Jeyifo of Arts + Public Life are elated to share their family-friendly faves dedicated to Black History Month this February on the Arts Block. Open to all ages but geared towards 0 - 6.

ABOUT THE GREENLIGHT SERIES:
The GreenLight Series illuminates the varied performing arts disciplines producing work in the Green Line Arts Center. Arts + Public Life (APL) invites audiences to experience a rotating sample of storytelling, music performances, comedy, theater, and dance works presented by ensembles, collectives and individuals. To kickoff the GreenLight series, APL will showcase Chicago’s multi-faceted storytelling community, presenting a range of Chicago communities, storytelling styles and oral traditions.
